Follett and Red Rock Reports help schools find AARA funds
May 13,2009

Follett Software Company recently announced a partnership with RedRock Reports to help states and K-12 school districts identify available ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) funds, and to help find products and communication tools that will address their needs. $44 billion is now available for states and schools under ARRA, and the funds are intended to begin a new educational reform. The partnership will provide educators with tools and information that explain how ARRA funds can be applied toward the purchase of solutions to support “high-performance learning environments and help accomplish the government’s objectives for comprehensive education reform.” Follett Software’s information and resource management products, such as Destiny Library Manager™ and TetraData™, are examples of solutions that can be supported through ARRA funds. The company will offer two webinars to help educators obtain ARRA information, held on May 19 and 20.

The Lakota Public Schools District (Lakota, ND) recently implemented School Loops Standard, a free web-building tool and content management system, in order to create professional and comprehensive websites.
