Lo Jack Leads to Pilfered Laptop
January 15,2009

Fort Worth (TX) Independent School District officials say a laptop computer stolen from Polytechnic High School has been recovered through Lo/Jack tracking technology. The computer, valued at $1,500, was stolen from a classroom in late October while a teacher was at a meeting and recovered by the new Lo/Jack system, which costs roughly $50 per computer. If a stolen computer isn’t found, the tracking company has to pay the district $1,000.
